New chiral conjugated materials for optoelectronics, with Prof. M. Heeney. Secured a US$250k grant for a UV-Vis-NIR CD/CPL spectrometer and develop bespoke sample stages and analytical techniques for chiral materials.

Metal-free synthesis of conjugated polymers, with Dr A. Gapin and Prof. C. Brochon. Designed a 3D-printed flow synthesis system and reached up to tenfold higher molecular weights than the previous state of the art. Supervised students and restored over €50k of instrumentation.
